Using a set amount of cardboard and a maximum of four separate pieces, I designed this packaging for to fit two pairs of rolled-up socks. The octagonal prism shape creates a fun, kinetic moment as the single tab is released and the package unrolls to reveal the socks inside.
The pieces are attached together with tabs that match the overall form language and eliminate the need for adhesives. A second cardboard layer lines the inside of the package so the socks avoid snagging on these tabs.
